What will be priced
Prices will be per company in Canadian dollars, plus GST/HST. Whether the price depends on the number of staff users, and whether field-only users cost less, is still being decided. Customer and subcontractor portal access is not expected to be charged.
What you can do before choosing a plan
Everything. The trial is the full product: create customers, send estimates, dispatch work orders, run the field app, invoice and record payments with your own numbers.
What will never happen
You will not be charged because a trial ran out. There is no card on file and no checkout in the app. If the trial ends before we have spoken, your data stays in place, read-only, until we do.
Volume and several companies
One sign-in can belong to more than one company. If you run several entities or a large crew, contact us and we will work it out directly.
Questions about the trial and pricing
Is there a free trial, and how long is it?
Yes. Every new company starts a 30-day trial with every feature switched on. There is no card to enter and no plan to choose first.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your account becomes read-only: you can still sign in and see everything, but you cannot add or change records until a plan is set up. Nothing is deleted. Email us before the end of the trial and we will set up the next step with you in writing.
How much will it cost?
Pricing has not been published. It will be per company, in Canadian dollars plus applicable tax, and you will have it in writing before any charge. Early companies will be told the price before it applies to them.
What counts as a user?
Anyone on your team who signs in: owner, office staff, estimators and field technicians. Customers using the portal and subcontractors using the subcontractor portal sign in too, but they are your customers and subs, not your staff, and there is no plan today to charge for them.
Do field-only users get a cheaper rate?
A technician can be limited to the field app and their own work orders through roles and permissions. Whether that is priced differently is part of the pricing decision still to be published.
Is there a user limit?
Not during the trial. A seat limit can be set per company by us when a plan is agreed; it is not enforced today.
What triggers billing?
Nothing automatic. There is no card on file and no online checkout. Billing starts only when you and we have agreed a plan in writing.
Where is my data and can I take it out?
The application and its database run on a server we operate, with nightly backups. Lists and reports export to CSV, and invoices, payments, customers and supplier bills export for QuickBooks and Xero. See the privacy policy for retention after an account closes.
Do you charge for setup?
No. Creating the company, loading your price book and tax rates, and importing supplier price lists are things you can do yourself in the app, and we help by email.
Set up the company first. Talk pricing when you know you want it.
Thirty days is enough to quote, schedule and invoice a few real jobs and decide for yourself.
